After watching the first semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2017 I'm all the way in for a "Road Trip" from Sweden!

The first semi of Melfest brought us all the stuff we missed for almost one year! Amazing show acts, brilliant hosts, awesome tunes and the first seven contender to represent Sweden in Eurovision 2017! Despite the shock, that Eurovision winner of 1999, Charlotte Perrelli, finished last in the semi, we also got a brilliant new entry from Dinah Nah (Melfest 2015) which ended up 5th. Adrijana, a new face in the Melfest universe, finished 6th with a modern track. Ace Wilder and Nano both went, as expected, to the final and Nano being already one of he faves to win the whole show in Sweden and being compaired with Loreen's "Euphoria". We also got Boris René getting into the second chance round and we also got De Vet Du in the second chance round!

De Vet Du and their entry "Road Trip" is my jam since the semi final! I really have to say, that this song was my favorite in the first semi-final! I know, a song, that got into the second chance round has a limited chance to really win Melodifestivalen, but it's till now my jam of 2017! It's not what you would expect from Sweden, but this makes it really interesting! Samir & Viktor brought the fun the past two years and De Vet Du are doing it this year. For me they did it on a whole new level. "Road Trip" is catchy as hell, the performance could not be any more entertaining and you just love seeing them on stage!

For now I hope, that they will make it to the final and that I can party to them, when I watch the Melfest final in Stockholm ♥

By checking the Spotify plays of the non-finalists it's obvious, that De Vet Du got the 3rd place in the first semi, while Boris came 4th.

Based on that you can see, that De Vet Du is rocking the charts so far while Adrijana climes at the moment and could become even bigger.
