It's finally that time again were everybody is looking to Sweden for it's glorious national final called "Melodifestivalen"! 28 act will once again fight for the honor to wave the swedish flag at ESC!



This week we'll take a look at the first 7 6 acts. The best two songs will made it to the final in 6 weeks while the songs that end up 3rd and 4th will go to the second chance round!

On Thursday we got the first 30 sec. of each song and saw the stage for the first time in action! Everything started with a huge shock after that, because Anna Book's song took already part in the moldavian national final 2 years ago and it isn't allowed to have songs in ESC, that were relesed before the 1st September! Therefore she and her song got disqualified! That's why we'll have six songs in tonights semi while, Anna will perform her song but not compete. She already made clear, that she'll return next year! We can't wait for that!

Today you could listen to the 2:30 studio versions of all the songs of the first semi HERE and this is how I would decide tonight:

Final:

Sure, the ratings can change after I heard the whole song and during the competition!

Ace Wilder (c) SVT

Ace Wilder came 2nd in Melodifestivalen 2014 and is my favorite to win tonight semi-final! Her song "Don't Worry" has a sick beat and you just wanna dance to it!



Samir & Viktor appeared in #Melfest the first time in 2015 and made it through to the final! This year they have an amazing party song and they go shirtless on stage *totally looking forward to it*! Think they are a huge contender for a spot to the final tonight!


Robin Bengtsson is new on the #Melfest stage and has a banger song! Some already see him winning melfest and a contender for the ESC win! We'll see after tonight, if he made it to the final. But I wouldn't put him out as a favorite even, if he get to the second chance round... Remember? Robin Stjernberg was the winner of Melodifestivalen in 2013 (last time Sweden hosted) and he only made it to the second chance round! Everything is possible!


Also among my favorites are Mattias (left) and Albin (right)! The song is catchy even though I'm not that into rapping (Albins part), but I'm soooo in love with Mattias' voice <3 Think it's hard for them to get to the final, but second chance is a possibility :)
