38 songs to go means, that we already have 5 songs for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. Before it'll get busy during Febraury let's see what is going on in the Eurovision world atm.

The first act that got choosen this weekend was Belarus on friday. I wasn't that into their national selection this year and I couldn't watch it, because I was in the evening school at this time. They choosed IVAN to represent Belarus in the #ESC2016! Kinda like that song and the chorus is really chatchy :) I'm pretty sure, that they are already working on a new version for Eurovision and I think this version will be even better!



Also Malta did their national selection this weekend with a semi-final on Friday and the final on Saturday! The winner was the 2002 represantive of Malta Ira Losco with Chameleon (Invincible). I like the song and she is professional enough to really perform the entry on stage in Stockholm. I also think, that a new version will be released for Eurovision later.



A counrty that has a really amazing song in their national final is Hungary! Freddie with Pioneer was in the first heat of A Dal this weekend and he won this heat and went to the semi-final! I really love the song and think, that Hungary would score BIG in Stockholm with this entry! Amazing song, perfect voice and an awesome stage presence!!! Hungary? Don't mess this up! Send Freddie and get the best result in the hungarian history <3 GO FREDDIE <3



We now have 5 songs and I really like every song so far! It's still quite easy to do a ranking at this point though, but I think that the quality this year will be very high and a tought competition in May!

Tonight will also kick off the national selection in Latvia... so you see, we're now about to get really busy for the #ESC2016 season <3 Get ready guys!

Next week will also take place the allocation draw and the presentation of the logo and the slogan for 2016!!! #EXCITED!!!
