Who could represent Germany at the #ESC2016?

11/21/2015

Today I wanted to write what I think about the German singer at the #ESC2016 but everything changed!

This week the german broadcaster ARD/NDR announced that Xavier Naidoo will respresent Germany at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

A lot of people liked that decision, but more people (me included) were not that optimistic about the decision.

He never was my cup of tea and neither was his music, but I was like that we could give him a chance and just see what will happen. Maybe, if he reached a good place, other big artists could follow and wouldn't be that afraid of failing at the contest.

Today the german broadcaster announced that the #Shitstorm was too massive and that they withdraw their decision.

Now I started to think about, who could represent us at the #ESC2016?

Here are some artists that could reach a good position with a good song:

Glasperlenspiel would be a great decision. They took part twice at a german copy of the ESC (the Bundesvision Song Contest) and did a great job both times. This is their entry of 2015:

Or Namika! She is a newcomer here in Germany, but her first song "Lieblingsmensch" was a massive summer hit here. She also took part at the Bundesvision Song Contest this year with her track "Hellwach"!

The winner of the Bundesvision Song Contest this year was Mark Forster! He had several hits here in Germany and was part of the wildcard selection in the german national final this year. This is his winning entry of the Bundesvision Song Contest this year:

Another act that would be good for Germany would be Johannes Oerding. He is well known in Germany and had some hits. With a good song in German/English he could do very well!

Revolverheld would be a great entry aswell! They have won the Bundesvision Song Contest and had several hits in Germany! They're well known and professional to handle the biggest music event of the year! They also had a hit with Marta Jandová (Czech Republic 2015) check it out:

We have also some great DJ's here in Germany like Felix Jaehn who could produce a modern track for ESC.

Let's see who it will be! We have a lot of great artists... we just need the right song!
